Any amount of training, no matter how big or small would benefit the vast majority of us. On track or on road.

If you can't afford it - or don't have the time - then it's not a priority for you..You don't have to do it "now".

For the rest of us, we just have to be patient and hope that the "movers and shakers" among us will have sufficient motivatition to wait until all track-day/rideout opportunities are fully subscribed.

Rome wasn't built in a day...

WE CAN STILL DO WHAT WE WANT TO DO...

Its a case of you either want to do it or not. You either have the money/time or not.

If you look at my post I did say exactly that!!!!!!!!

I don't think anyone should HAVE to do it. Yes it will hopefully benefit you, but If you don't want to or don't have the money or time then I for one am certainly not going to make an issue of it!!!!!! I am lucky that I do have the occasional time available, and can, scrape the money up from somewhere.

So please don't misquote me saying that I am putting folk down because they don't want to do a track day.

Nah, your'e full of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So when will I see you at Brands then???? Senor Sanchez???

Brands? er.....I've done a few there now, so trying other tracks at the moment. I've done Mallory and I'm at Snetterton next Tuesday. Then it's Rockingham followed by Silverstone in July.
The only other I've got booked is a 4-dayer at Cartagena, Spain in November :yo:

I do concur with some of the previous points, i.e. road riding has nothing to do with track riding; they are two very different disciplines. I know of numerous quick road riders who are slow on tracks and vice versa, however a track is a much safer environment to explore your bike's (on your own) capabilities. 9 people died doing bike track days in this country last year; how many bikers died on roads exploring their limits?
And just think about how much FUN you'll all have :yo:
