Here's a laugh for ya..

My mate has just bought a house and he got the keys this morning, he invited me around to have a look and show it off.
Upon arrival i was most impressed with his new home and i proceeded in a Southerly direction to the rear of the premises. Once at the rear of the property i observed a rather large concrete sectional garage with an up & over door complete with heavy duty padlocks.
I urged my mate to open it and check to see if was dry (with a view to keeping my XX in there) and to our amazement, there in front of us sat................................an ALFA ROMEO 24v V6 in pristine condition complete with key in the ignition.
I had a look around it and found that the reg on the TAX disc didn't match the one on the car so i got it checked

The car had been stolen in November 2002 during a burglary and mothballed in my mates garage.

I spent 2 hrs this morning arranging for it to be removed by GMP.

Now we have been intouch with the solicitors with a view to making an offer to the insurance company or going down the route of an 'interpleader' (when true ownership cannot be established)... SO, Johhny may well have a new toy for winter if the insurance company play ball. :yo:
