Yep Rich is right, it was Roberts in 2000 at Sepang on the two-stroke Suzuki..............he won that race and eight 500 GP's before that.......prior to him it was John Kocinski in '94 on a Cagiva!

GP Geek :eek:

Yamaha should stick with that scheme for the rest of the season...........beautiful............can't wait to see their lids and leathers.

What's your prediction then Joe?

Rossi's due a crash so I'm going for Edwards, Hayden, Biaggi..........

Mate, I can't see Rossi not winning, so it's

Rossi
Edwards
Melandri
Gibernau

Nah mate, and if he did that I don't think it would do the sport any good?
I'm really concerned that the GP has become/is nothing more than a procession and I'd honestly feel the same if it were Gibernau or any other spanish rider dominating the sport in the same manner.

Personally, I'm enjoying the 125 and 250 more this year.

Monkey's never been to California, never ridden Laguna Seca apart from on his PlayStation............I fail to see how he'll beat Edwards at his favoured home track without trying too hard and binnin' it.

If Monkey wins I'll.........I'll..........I'll book a test ride a fookin' Royal Enfield!

Sam, it's a REALLY bad idea to make such promises based on predictions on here (isn't it Joe :bang: that would've cost me a fortune!) so I've quoted you in case you decide to edit your post later :}

Russ - I promise if Monkey wins I'll conduct a Road Test Special on the Royal Enfield.

The main dealer isn't too far from me, and the model I've chosen to ride is the Royal Enfield Bullet MACHISMO............ according to their website this machine is "distinct", "classic", and more importantly, "powerful". By all accounts it's a bit of a looker too........

So if Boy Monkey wins, I shall put this machine to the test. If I fail to find it 'powerful, classic and distinct' I'll take the manufacturers to task over their claim.......

I really hope that your prediction comes true as Colin is my favourite rider.

However, old Monkey Boy is something special and can't be written off. Colin's also due a crash just as much as MB and he'll be giving it the berries all race and may push too hard himself :eek:

Monkey Boy's plan will be easy (and his usual pattern), follow the leader for the entire race (probably Col) then stuff it up them with a couple of laps to go, knowing full well that he can ride better on shot tyres than anyone else :xm

BUT, GO Colin GO!!! R#?

Even slower than usual now Trotsky. New Diablo Corsa tyres today filled with Nitrogen and running 3 psi less on the road :eek: What will my insurance company say :dunno: :rolleyes: :}
