Colin Edwards has described Laguna Seca as the Hollywood of motorcycle racing and I'm inclined to agree with him..........fresh from his 3rd place at Assen do you think he'll get his 1st MotoGP win? Or will fellow Septic Nicky Hayden do it? What about the Hopper, or even Roberts?

It's can be a tricky track, it's got the notorious Corkscrew at Turn6 and a small jump on the back straight, the Yanks who've ridden superbikes there must have a bit of an advantage, especially as MotoGP hasn't run their for ages..........

So the question is: "Will a Yank win at Laguna"?

Money on Edwards has gotta be worth a punt............. he and the fellow Septics know the 'secret lines' of Laguna Seca!

MAN on the PAN
but he hasn't got Rossi's secret button :eek:
but Edwards does seem up for it and with good track knowledge he should do well

I predict Gibernau ramming Melandri up the arse and both taking each other out on Lap 4 at the corkscrew..............

I reckon Colin will lead for most of the race as long as he sorts his shit in qualifying which is his achilles heel at mo.

But I also reckon that if he does lead, Monkey Boy will just follow him round and stuff him with one/two laps to go. Monkey is just so good at the end of the race that he can ride round on shot tyres but still pull it off (ooh err).

Hayden will be up at the front after the start but will drop off by half-distance, might be lucky to get fourth. Marco will be there or thereabouts, probably third - he's got big balls and isn't scared to fight with Rossi but can't make it stick - yet.

So;

1 = Rossi
2 = Edwards
3 = Melandri

Rossi's due a crash...........and I don't think Colin will be giving away any secrets to him...........

My money's on:

1)Edwards
2)Hayden
3)Biaggi

I reckon baggipants will cut across someones path at the corkscrew and take out two or three riders. Edwards will finish high up, Rossi more than likley will win, Sete pushing hard till halfway where his tyres will wear, (Again!!!), and wind up in 5th.

So it'll be Melandri in Third, Edwards Second, Rossi first, Sete in 5th, biaggi out of contention or just out. Just watch out for the kwakas and the Suzuki's!

But then, what do I know? I ride a red bird!

Hayden and then Barros ahead of that shoe faced dago and psychbikerbiaggi. If everybody stays on the black stuff.

Did you know that the numbers on the bikes are in fact their starting tyre pressures?

Boy, would like to see Edwards get his first here. It would do wonders for promotion of GP here stateside, opposed to those shitbag F1ers. However that damn Rossi is so talented that do not think his unfamilarity with the track will make much diff.
Rossi
Edwards
Melandri

'Cos we ain't seen that before have we? :dunno: :rolleyes:
MotoGP at risk of becoming boring - I'm fooking off to France on the bike this weekend instead.

I'm not in the slightest bit bitter of course!!!!!
