ive never been into the flag hanging bit....but after hearing in the news the councils were stopping people from hanging them out as it could be seen to be causing racial trouble, and then to hear that the london black cab drivers have been banned from putting flags on there cabs, again by councils and the carriage headquaters in london, i made it a point to get the bloody flags :bang:
2 on the car, 1 on the bike and the biggest flag i could find to hand out of the window
if you cant fly your own flag in your own country then where can you fly it
since then the cab office has oked the flags on london taxis as long as the football is on
too many lentil eating stop the war lesbians sitting on there backsides in goverment me thinks, that feel they have to come up with these perthetic fooking rules to justify there huge equal rights fooking pay packets

unfortunately, I find myself agreeing with reefer, on the "banning" of flying our "saints"!! flag in support of a game I don't personally care for, whether or not the people that banned the flying of said flags are gay or not,

this is the start of an erosion of our nationalistic rights to free speech, how long to the day when "the national anthem" is banned as being racist/provocative/etc,

I don't support football in any way, but I certainly don't believe that because I don't like it others shouldn't,!!

I don't believe the "royal" family are still so special as to receive "special" favor's however they do bring millions into the country and should therefore receive acknowledgment of that fact,

st George wasn't english and in actual fact NEVER even visited england, his flag however is used to "represent" what England used to stand for,IMHO :f

I must say that i'm not a great fan of football English or other countries but still have an interest when the national side plays , but as for the flags i have two on the car for the plain fact that i'm pissed off with the way in the name of rasism that i being told i shouldn't upset the Indians , Pakistanis , Muslims and whoever else . Ive had the flags on the car for months before the football started and it seems i'm not alone in my feelings in the Derby notts area . Im not into the BNP or other extreme groups and have little time for them but i am ENGLISH AND PROUD OF IT ! :beer:

in fact i tried several petrol stations and super markets in london only to be told they had sold out
ive even been stopping people in there cars with flags asking them where they got em ..only to be told rocking horse poo m8
tried 2x tesco, 1 x safeway, 1 x sainsburys and 3 garages all in aylesbury..not a dickie :bang:
almost had given up after 2 days and loads of fuel later..got offered to buy one off a guys car in watford for 4 quid which i thought was a bit pricey..then at the close of day was pointed to office world...yup thats right bloody office world in aylesbury..and hey presto 5 car flags left @99p each :bow: :bow: and a few normal hang out your window type flags
on another note..what a cracking day for tv today..bike racing this morning, then last hour of le-mans live then break for lunch, now canada F1 then england football...shame its not raining outside cos that would just make it perfect :beer:
