PS With regard to vehicles, my No 1 husband always used to spoil The Sweeney for me by telling me what was going to happen next - eg
'That car will go over the cliff/down the embankment/blow up etc etc soon'

'cos it's a 1953 Mk minus 23 Jag that they've just put a new grille/rear spoiler/go faster stripes on to make it look like a new one - you can pick them up for a cup of tea and a cake down the scrapyard'

Yea.
I'll go along with Dixon of Dock Green.
No Gun, No Stab proof vest, No CS Gas. No crappy CPS to drop all the charges.
Just a neatly pressed tunic and a bit of wood in his pocket ( ehem).
Still got the bad guy every time.

But he would be banned now, as it was in BLACK and WHITE. ( if its ok to say that ?)

Ok then in one episode of morse it was revealed that his first name was endeavour, but what is inspector Frost's real name in 'a touch of frost' and no it isn't Jack

It was William Edward Frost..... not a lot of people know that!... oops, wrong actor!
