Undertrays on a sports tourer........

Would you hack the original arse end off your P & J to fit an undertray??

Do you think its worth the money?
Is the effect a bit kinda, "I wanted a sports bike but i can't afford to change"

Thoughts and a poll

Thanks

Absoloutley.......

i fitted a motech,brok3 with 3 rows of led's and indy led's built in and it looks the buisines specialy with the 2 carbon high level venoms, it makes it just a little bit individual, it also just get's rid of the pig ugly mud gaurd and the huge back light and indy's, looks like a sports bike from the back and a super sports from the front:neenaw:

Some of them do look quite nice but others are just rubbish, think it's very much a personal preferance thing (as with most add on's to a bike).
Me, I don't think i would want to hack the rear end man8um out of my P&J just to fit an undertray.

If I wanted an undertray I would buy a bike that is more suited to the style. To make an undertray look right on a Bird you would need to cosmetically change so much else you may as well have bought a sports bike in the first place.

I didnt like the look of my Ace at the rear end. The undertray makes it look far better.

It did involve a lot of chopping but if I wanted to return to standard it only costs about a ?10 for a second hand original of flea bay...

Rhino,

Just a thought before you get your stanley knife out and attack the arse end of your bike,

..... is it worth all the grief you may get from any pillions, when they get covered in the shite from the road that used to be stopped by the rear mudguard ...............?

If is worth the hassle, then carve away......

Why?
No. Think of re-sale!
No. You're better of spending the money on getting a proper suspension set-up and/or tyres!
