Founder Drummer with The shadows, Tony Meehan has died at the age of 62 through head injuries sustained in a fall.

It's a day for bad news, ain't it ?? I met Tony Meehan years ago when he played a guest spot with a band I used to follow around the Rock 'n' Roll circuit (The Rapiers)....nice fella and a good musician.
