At one stage I stopped going in to tool shops because I was buying things I liked rather than needed. Stayed out of an Lidl as well.Bergen hex, torx, star and spline bit set.
Long allen hex key set, ball end.
Stainless steel spot light guard covers.
Will need tweaking to make them fit.
my Best Buy was going to Homebase to buy wallpaper….came out with a massive olive tree, no wallpaper. At one stage I stopped going in to tool shops because I was buying things I liked rather than needed. Stayed out of an Lidl as well.
I went to get brushes for a strimmer a few days ago. They didn't have but I spent €30 on a set of bits, marked €35, and a flexible light on a magnetic base. Good strong magnetic. Oh, and a pack of hacksaw blades.
That cost €30 as well, strangely, he was in good humour. I mentioned that I was staying out of tool shops. He was highly amused.
"I can see why"
No. I had two Birds at the time. Both were for sale. They eventually both sold but as time went by I regretted selling the early carb version as it was so well sorted. It’s been kept in the finest of fettle, garaged and still rides as it should having covered very minimal miles since I sold it. Happy days, glad to have it back with me. Grateful to the ‘interim’ custodian !Is it weird having your old bike back?
I can beat that, took Bev for a Hospital appointment & ended up with a holiday in Dom Rep & an oak dining suitemy Best Buy was going to Homebase to buy wallpaper….came out with a massive olive tree, no wallpaper.
