First off Oh my! the man can ride (and Pete, the van IS NOT your bike, just to make sure before you start count the number of wheels, if it's got four it doesn't squeeze in as well as your bird on one wheel :neenaw

Put simply, Pete is ace, helped me today with my bike, sorted it out (new circuit board -was burnt, center stand back on despite 4 into 1 thanks to a very little clever bracket welded to the aforementioned center stand...

Now, I want to say something: some vet short-sighted people always want the cheapest, trying to squeeze an extra-quid saving out of what's already a huge bargain, thinking that anything sold for a dime over eBay prices is too expensive... (and sometimes Pete's prices ARE cheaper than eBay!)
Pete offers a great service - advice, time, AND instant (or almost instant) availability of parts (and stock DO costs money due to immobilisation of capital, space etc...) at an amazingly low price (have you checked Honda spare prices lately?) and I personally wants him to make money, have a successful operation, and stay in business for a long time - first because he is a great guy - but also for a very selfish reason: in one year or 2 years or X years from now provided I still own a bird then I want him to continue to be able to provide me this great service... same goes for Jaws and Bob of course! So I for one don't see haggling with those straight shooters as a decent thing to do, just be glad that they offer a much more than proper service at very decent and more than fair prices!J And no, no one as paid me advertising fees (yet :xm)

Pete's a top bloke

There are blokes who are out to make a killin' and there are bloke like Pete who just want to earn an honest living.
Don't be a cvnt and try and beat the bloke down on what are already very,very good prices.The knowledge and help ya get from Pete is also a big bonus.
He's not a bike breaker but an imporiom of quality used spares with a good attitute and a very friendly and intelligent persona.
I've had some beutifully polished casings off Pete as well as some drilled footrest hangers which he crafted himself as well as the loan of a frame that I can use as a jig to build my one off single seater tail unit on.

having not known pete very long...met him twice(once when he came to wales to meet up with blumeeni at llandovery for a ride,and boy can he ride,the other at ally pally)he is a very nice man.having only just got my first bird,i needed a mirror bracket for my l/h mirror(due to my fekin brother being careless)which i got from him within 2 days :beer:.i for one shall be giving him my business again should i need anything again:yo: :yo: and will also be supporting jaws and anyone who can offer me as good a service (no...i'm not grovelling)just credit where credit's due

Six months ago i bought my first blackbird in the best colour that you can buy, yes it was CANDY RED. Not knowing much about the bike i joined the best blackbird club on the web where i got incontact with Pete from Blackbird Spares. What a suprise a GREAT BLOKE & helping me in getting bits for my bike without a thought of making a PENNY for himself. I have now had several parts from Pete & if it was not for him, it would have cost me a arm & a leg, & then not having the right parts. I have been always brought up with the saying that,( praise those who deserve it) So i can 100% say that Pete deserves a BIG PRAISE.
This also goes to John from Jaws. I think that Pete & john were Brothers in another life or maybe they are & keeping it quite ha! ha!. That's the end of my Tail, so to end this, i do not think that there is anybody in are club that could not wish PETE & JOHN all the best for the future.
