I was stuck there for 3 weeks working for BT.

Mind you, it's not as bad as Pwhelli (spelling?) in North Wales. We worked there one November - the f*****G chippy was closed

By people worse than Train spotter, one of Emaps mags or MCN. But is still one of the best roads there is. Also the road to Penrith for me is a classic as well the A6 over shap.

Agreed noBBY - I took the outfit up to the cafe at the top once - I was knackered when I got there!
