Good god! You guy's are so motivated by the money from overtime it sounds like it's taken over your lives!

Don't get me wrong, we all need money, but all those hours spent at work and outside the big walls life is busy racing past.

Life is short guys...... and money in the bank is useless when you're in yer sickbed.

No it isnt, it earns lots of interest.

Don't get me wrong, we all need money, but all those hours spent at work and outside the big walls life is busy racing past.

It doesnt do much racing past in the winter so I work the extra in the winter to get more off in the summer when the racing really begins

Some married couples are in the fortunate position where they are both able to work, we used to be & we got used to two wages coming in however that suddenly stopped and the overtime goes some way to making up for that. I am gearing myself to retire from the Prison service at 55, [6 years 9 months & 21 days] I don't want to be put in the position of not being able to afford to retire at that age so I will carry on doing as much overtime as I can.

I wonder what bike I will be riding then and as the wife is 7 years younger than me she can keep bringing the loot home :bow:
