We all know of the cleaning qualities of Alcohol ie applied to an open wound it will clean it...........

So why doesn't it work on Stomach ulcers? :dunno:
Not that I have a Stomach ulcer or that I drink much alcohol.

I can see the attraction of the money Baz, but what about a bit of quality time with loved ones at Christmas? As I said above I do a fair bit (about 55 hours this month so far) but I decided to give it a rest over Christmas. In fact I think they may have taken some of the special watches/2052s off just over Christmas as there is no-one willing to be called in to cover them.

Mmmmmmmmm Wife is on an A Shift on G Wing, I am on D Wing on a main shift and the kids are too old or too pissed to notice :-:

To be honest I am a bit of a anti-christmas sort of person but the other reason is that I blew the engine on the wifes MR2 so I have to buy a replacement for that :xm

Both on a screws wage and the kids grown up eh. Great position to be in.

And the amount you two must be earning it's a good job the kids have grown up or you'd be on too much to claim the tax credits

A licence  What's one of those then

We're always two up usually with a long-termer. Although DK should be having it easy as he's looking after a 71yr old lifer who's just had a stroke.

Fortunately when we get the lifers they have normally done at least 10years
and are fairly compliant. Good old Cat C's dont ya love em.

I remember a certain W Silcott who thought he would try to break the mould with his 'Lifer' style but got little Joy

If you're fishing, Slim, its 15.20 an hour. It's the same all year - midweek, weekend, Bank Holiday. There's no multiple rates in Her Majesty's hotels. :violin:

Not only that but after my shift tomorrow I'll owe the boss an hour and a half. Hows that then,eh. Work at Christmas for flat rate and end up owing the firm money. :bang: Tell me another job whare that happens.

How out of touch you are Steve, He died last week.
I was looking after a big fat slug with diabetes and heart trouble who is going to be out for four or five days.

As for grabbing I was supposed to be doing two main shifts but they asked me to do a couple of back night special watches instead, and then this came up.
