You'll also land a years Honda Dealer servicing bills-probably two services-so you don't invalidate the guarantee that would come with the new one...

YEAH RIGHT :t

With two kids at uni, you've gotta be kiddin

Thanks for the replies. I'd no intention of changing - was just seeing if there were strong opinions about the injection model being much better than the carbed ones. Seems from the replies here that there's not a lot of advantage, so I'll happily stick with the one I've got, which I love.

got my bird today by swapping my 95/6 n reg abs pan european for a 1997 r reg bird with less than 15000 miles and got a cheque for ?200 back as well, the bike is completely standard except for braided hoses on the rear brake in silver and has 3 small scratches which are very hard to see!

Isn't the FI one possibility of more problems ???

A friend of mine has a 99' Model, which gave him some problems... something happened and the FI light keep on...

Didn't pay much attention at the time... but guess wasn't nothing serious.

Sure may have some advantages, like the power gap between some lower revs (which i never felt/bored me)

My 97' titanium has 51.000 Kms... strong she goes.
