The Met Office have issued a severe weather warning for the Hampshire area valid from 0600 UTC tomorrow 1st March 2006.

Severe weather conditions are expected to move into this area starting in the early morning and increasing throughout the day.

Strong winds, squally showers with hail, sleet and snow are expected.
Drifting of accumulated snow may be expected.

Motorists are advised that unneccesary journeys should be avoided.
Drivers of high sided vehicles should get a real job and motorcyclists in the area are advised to find somewhere with decent roads.

For those more used to meeting at Bassets Pole, the West End Cafe and Matlock please note that the translation for "severe weather conditions" is "light drizzle".
