Afternoon All

I read in this months RiDE mag that there has been a recall on Schuberth S1 visors becasue the anti fog layer peels off. I have noticed this is happening with my S1 helmet. Has anyone here heard anything about this or experienced this?
Do you know if I have to send the visor back to the place I bought it from (moto-plus in Germany) or should my local Honda dealer (Schuberth stockist) be able to replace it. :dunno:

I don't know about the Schuberth visor, but I had a visor replaced under warranty on my BMW system 3 flip. and I seem to remember they are, in fact, the same company.
All I did was pop into my 'local' dealer ( manchester).. they had a look, ... ordered new one straight away for me. (It was in March)

Worth ringing your nearest dealer before a trip out I would think.

yes bmw helmets are made by schuberth - only tiny details are different between the two model ranges. your nearest bmw dealer will definitely stock schuberth helmets, if that's closer than the local honda. i think infinity do them too :dunno:

not sure about the recall though sorry
