Just been on their website to have mail redirected, “do this to avoid fraud” they say £80 for me & £10 for Bev, I think I’ll leave it & call round & collect it, robbing twats
£80 for six months, I am informing most of the people that send me mail anyway so it should go to the new address, I won’t be ordering anything until we’ve moved, incidentally we are still receiving mail for the previous occupant who moved 8 years ago & she did have mail redirected as she moved to Cheshire, we moved here in the September & in the december we had a delivery for her 8 year old son from Amazon, we contacted Amazon & they didn’t want to know, we got in touch with the post office & they would not give us the forwarding address, they would not even collect the parcel & deliver it, next door neighbour tried ringing her but she never answered her phone, we kept the parcel for two years then took it to a charity shop. That works fine until you need to collect something that's been sent to the old address but not delivered.
You turn up at collections office with the card, produce evidence of identity, addresses don't match.
Isn't that £90 for two years?.
£3.75 or so a month, still not bad if it's only a year.
You'll eat more than that in wurthers!
The fraud thing is valid; we had someone using the address of one of our rentals in an attempted fraud - presumably they had seen the 'to let' board. We had the sense to contact the finance company that was being targeted and presumably that was an end to it.Just been on their website to have mail redirected, “do this to avoid fraud” they say £80 for me & £10 for Bev, I think I’ll leave it & call round & collect it, robbing twats
I think for what you order it’s wise to have it redirected.I think we paid £57 for six months. Ours comes to an end next month and it’s surprising how many people we forgot to inform. it’s expensive, I get that, but I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again, not that I ever want to move again.
If I had a quid for every one of those type of scams I had received over the years I reckon I would have nearly.. ooo.. £30 now !Scam going on with regard to excise duty.
You get a message saying you need to pay duty before goods will be delivered.
Looks like from courier.
I got similar one before Christmas.
Luckily didn't get caught.
I phoned the company directly and they told me it was a scam.
