You’d think he’d do his research before making stupid false statements, Kent is not the garden of England, it is no longer even close to being the garden of England
You can keep on trying to claim it but historically its Kent.. for me and mine it will always be KentYou’d think he’d do his research before making stupid false statements, Kent is not the garden of England, it is no longer even close to being the garden of England
Don’t need to try to claim it, it is fact, I know that as it’s a bit close to home it’s hard to take but you really must let go, it was called the garden of England too many years ago by an obese King who thought because Kent grew cherries then it deserved the title, cherries played a big part in their banquets as they used to throw them into the cleavage of serving wenches, if he’d preferred Rhubarb then West Yorkshire would have been crowned, (imagine throwing rhubarb down the boobie gaps) common sense now prevails & North Yorkshire is rightly the garden of England & has been for fourteen years. You can keep on trying to claim it but historically its Kent.. for me and mine it will always be Kent
It isn’t on both countsKent might be the garden of England, but Devon’s the cream of the crop .

With all due respect Simon that is utter cornwallian propagand, I have covered this topic in a thread months ago and will not venture yet again into the physics why cream on the bottom is the only logical conclusion for a successful cream scone .An, but Cornwall is where we know cream, and like to show it off, in the proper way -
ON TOP OF THE JAM ON A SCONE
Kent is full of cherries? How queer.Don’t need to try to claim it, it is fact, I know that as it’s a bit close to home it’s hard to take but you really must let go, it was called the garden of England too many years ago by an obese King who thought because Kent grew cherries then it deserved the title, cherries played a big part in their banquets as they used to throw them into the cleavage of serving wenches, if he’d preferred Rhubarb then West Yorkshire would have been crowned, (imagine throwing rhubarb down the boobie gaps) common sense now prevails & North Yorkshire is rightly the garden of England & has been for fourteen years.

Derek! Everyone knows Devon pasties are the gold standard, as is everything else in the hallowed county especially the cream scones..............Fact as noted in the historically correct book, myths and legends of ancient jannerland, Penguin books 3/6d. Now unfortunately out of print.A qualified ally, spent a few years in Plymouth & my eldest daughter was born there. Devon pasties are better than Cornish pasties.
Surely if you put the cream on the bottom then the scone is going to stick to the plate..?With all due respect Simon that is utter cornwallian propagand, I have covered this topic in a thread months ago and will not venture yet again into the physics why cream on the bottom is the only logical conclusion for a successful cream scone .
