RHINO said:Thanks for trying RUSS, very much appreciate your help, however it really isn't for me.
I'd rather wrestle a big bike than feel uneasy on a tiny bike.
I'll spend Tuesday on it, go for a ride out but i'm sure my views won't change.
RHINO said:And would you let me test drive your Chelsea Tractor for 80 miles off road so i know if it all works???
I rode it around the estate to make sure the bits worked and it was fine, however the further into the ride i got the more unsure i became.
martin said:Well you've either got a lot of wedge to chuck around (fair play to ya) or you may need to think about what ya buy a little harder.
Russ has given ya some great feed back sit and listen to what he says. Wait for a decent dry day and get out and give large. It's a fookin awsome bike and I know cos I ride me brother-in-laws just to keep me hand in. Yes I find it a bit cramped but the grin factor is enormous. If your lass aint to botherd about being on the back, keep the feckin thing and try it properly.
Or have you bought a pup??????
It is difficult to know without proper drive time.:dunno: I got caught out similarly with a car - seemed lovely, seating position seemed good, but all on a drive round the local area. Unfortunately I do a 40 mile round trip commute and it is soooooooooo uncomfortable for that, and long journeys are a nightmare!!! But now I'm stuck until I find someone who would really want an automatic cage!!!! :bang: Bring on the nice weather so I can go back to commuting by bird!!:neenaw:RHINO said:Its hard to find a private vendor who will let you ride away on their bike for 2 hours while you test it.
Cruser said:Since having my Blade, I've ridden a XX and I've also ridden a CBR600F and after each ride I couldn't believe that I used to hoon about on bikes like that. The riding position felt bloody awful being sat so upright and they were so soft! How could I ride quickly whilst being sat on my favourite sofa? It's much easier with the Blade, it does everything the Bird did (except carry hard luggage, granted) plus more besides - I wouldn't go back p0pc0rn41
Allan said:I managed to get a picture of Rhino out on his Blade, now I can see the problem.

Nice one Rhino, LOL.RHINO said:LOL, where did you get that from Allan.....
Were you following me in Spain?? Thats the BIRD i'm on, ya wouldn't see the BLADE under me.
Might have sold it now, had a guy on the phone last night who is very keen.
Just sent the rims off today along with both cans to be polished, should have them back on Wednesday morning :yo: , the bike will look cooooool.
