Decent ride out today with Gippo And Cycleclipz

Despite the recent rainfall [although dry today] there still seems to be a lot of salt on the roads

Derby to Claycross [PowerSports with new Silver XX - has anyone seen the NEW raised CBR XX badge on the side fairings together with two-tone tank and nose cone? ?8495 OTR????????????????]

Claycross to Chesterfield

Chesterfield to Matlock [via Chatsworth with all those sheep roaming free!!]

Met up with Arse One Shaun [in the cage because he's a wuss]

Back home via the twisties

As I said not a lot of grip on the twisties but fun all the same and great to blow the cobwebs away

What did your weekend bring?

Saw a few bikes out, but no Blackbirds

this afternoon. Lovely ride. Main roads were dry but the smaller ones are way slippery with mud.
The sunset was fantastic. Everything was bathed in a golden glow but of course riding into a low sun is blinding. I've got a bit of 2 inch gaffer tape across the top of my visor, but you still have to be very careful.

Nothing wrong~~~~~~

Nowt wrong with an afternoon siesta!

Must confess that the back was a bit stiff on arrival at home

But after 40 winks all stiffness had disappeared [damm!!]

Surprising the muscles you use/don't use after not riding for a while.....

which conveniently brings us back to Wolfies weekend!!

Yes we looked at that on Thur, I din't say owt (badge) in case it was common knowledge, funny how old ideas (raised badges) come around again.

Badge

Looks very good actually - only concerns as it's obviously just stuck on would be :-

a] How long before it came off [normally when riding so you can't retrieve it]

b] How long before some begger nicks it [as per Mercedes and VW badges]

Wonder it it's available as a Honda part yet? - could be interesting!!

Ref the new BIRD in 2 tone silver/grey, HUNTS (Manchester) have one in and yes! the badge is an additional part but you'd have to bastardize your graphics to apply it.
I was looking at the new CBR1000RR in Repsol colours :lick: :lick: , when i get flush and Emma loses her bottle to be pillion i shall enquire.
