When I go sea fishing I take Marmite and Mustard sarnies, but it has to be Colmans English Mustard, if I leave any I throw them to the sea gulls, I'd hate to clean the boat that they shit on afterwards.

Ahhhhh......but on the subject of Colmans Mustard. Which is the best.... the stuff in the jar, the stuff in a tube, or the powdered gear in a tin that you mix with water ???? :dunno:

The powdered stuff but mix some vinegar in with it, but don't sneeze when mixing it cos if it goes in your eyes it stings like f*ck

English on virtually anything that's dead - except hotdogs, then it's French.

Why do you rosbifs and the yanks call 'French mustard' something that is everything but French? (not that it's bad or anything, it just isn't French) - Dijon is, (but there is excellent and crap dijon), moutarde de Meaux is (that's the original grainy mustard, the best being the Pommery brand), but French mustard... isn't. French, that is.

have to say that I really do like English, Colmans

mustard.

I do agree with FUK though, french mustard is not that horrible brown stuff, but the lovely grainy mustard that they do in big jars with the cork in the top...........lovely. I know this is sad, but I love the way the mustard seeds pop in your mouth when you nibble them..................c'mon then, who is going to make a lewd remark about that comment???????????

I wouldn't dare making a joke about you enjoying seeds popping in you mouth after a good nibble Alison!
The moutarde you're speaking about is the Moutarde de Meaux Pommery brand, just the best! Having said that moutarde de Dijon is French too, and the real one has a right kick to it! :lick:
