:bow: To whoever sent the pics, they bring back some god and some painfull memories.
1977 Jubilee pic was taken in Taunton when we went to see my now 44yr old brother in the army (he was 17)

The Avenger estate upside-down was the result of a 90ft car jump carried out to raise money for a Cancer Scanner for our local hospital...
I carried out the jump with a passenger (my then good mate who recently turned to cross dressing,,, wonder if he knows Bert???). The car left the ramp at around 60 mph and proceeded to nosedive into a mk2 Escort with a glass sunroof, which i greatfully received in my face and hands, the car then flipped onto its roof knocking out my cross dressing ex mate.
The landing looked very spectacular but from the inside it was like a near death experience which i did not wish to repeat in a hurry.
Back in 1990 when the jump took place we raised over 1000 pounds for the scanner charity,, the scanner is now in place and i hope i never have to see it for myself..

BERT, PAUL & CROZZERS it's backfired on you coz it was good to sit and reflect upon some of the dumb-shit things i did. :beer:

I ended up being hospitalised a few months after the jump whilst taking part in a figure of "8" race,, i miss-judged my timing during a cross over move and got 2 tons of armour plated V8 Rover in my drivers door.
10 days in hospital and pissing blood for my error of judgement.
Now with only 75% functional liver i've decided on a safer hobby. :yo:

BLAST from the past

The olde ZX10,, my first bike that one,, only had it 2 months prior to me ending up there in CATALUNYA....
Had a belting flat out blast on the way back from the GP and saw just over 160mph on the old beast, quite a scary moment considering that when i got home i discovered there was only a teaspoon of oil in the front forks :dunno:
