a name to watch out for...........saw him at a couple of

Irish Road races and Olivers Mount,

very special indeed..........I mentioned him to a few mates after

and now I see he's got a mention in MCN and a big spread in BIKE.

I'm surprised he's still alive, but an awesome talent.

Guy Martin is something special. He is local to me. I had a new tyre fitted to the SP1 last Tuesday by Chris Gunster. He has a dyno centre and workshop in Grimsby and Guy Martin works with him. Chris was with Guy at Scarborough last weekend. Chris is an ex racer and an ace spannerman. Time served motorcycle Mechanic. Guy is not only a very very quick rider but is a fantastic engine tuner. His new Gixer thou K5 is reputed to be quicker than Chris vermuelen's previous cbr. I believe Guy had a bit of a misunderstanding with the ACU but he is doing the British Superbike round at Cadwel Park in August.
I remember seeing guy on the tv last year, I think it may have been on men & motors and he really was outstanding.

You're right Gatso. He is special.
