w;;v Anyone suffered front end vibration at speed.
I noticed it starting to happen first at about 120,then at 110 today it was happening at 85ish.
I found the two top bolts on the mudguard were loose and the guard starting to crack both sides.
Tightening the bolts has all but cured the problem It was my own fault I had the wheels out last month for a tyre change and I couldn't have tightened it up DOH! still I was pleased it was only that and not bearings or the like.Blu.

Might be that a balance weight has come off the front wheel, or it was not balanced when it was put on?? Check also that the front tyre is not out of shape.

Thats all I can think of :bang:

Oddly enough I had a bike in for service the other day and the poor man had been suffering from really bad vibes after a set of tyres had been fitted,
Checked the balance of the front wheel and found it was out ( just had to move the weights round about 8 inches ! ) and the back wheel.... well that was fookin MILES out.. so far in fact I did not have the weights to bring it back right.. If you do not SEE your wheels being balanced do make sure they really are done !

Ta for the replies guys,I've just checked and there's no weight on the front so I'll whip it off and get that checked.
