John, I've sent you a real of 3M Scotchlite in the post for your own use, it's double sided clear tape, it sticks like sh*t to a blanket.
I've used it to replace the sticky part of the pads that are used to keep the headlight protector screen in place, mine dropped off and this stuff works ok
