I got a similar seat on ebay last year with gel inserts for both rider and passenger at just over ?100 + ?15 PP. I'd let this one go, there will be another at some time soon.

Baglux. Cos it's the only one that enhances the appearance. ALL the rest look shite. Viper comes a distant second but the fit around the tank is shite.

Wot's the best then?

Having tried seats by Melboy(gel) and Outback (memory foam)

Over the last 12k miles I can tell you that for me the Melboy was good for about 150 miles
before numb bum and the Outback 250 miles?. The memory foam worked better?

The Outback people are superb and will produce the seat spec that you want

And the quality is first class?. They will even incorporate logo?s should you desire

( i.e. CBR1100)



I have just taken my seat back to Outback:bow: who are experimenting further with it?.

By inserting a thin layer of gel below the memory foam my hope is that bottom out
will be extended to 300 miles plus? will let you know once I have had a few trial runs

did an exchange... initialy....their standard memory foam seat
but as a say.... now having some personalised resculpturing, graphics and
that gel undelay to experiment with... if i don't like it...
it proves to be worse than just the memory foam... then it will come out.

they are just down the road from where i live and have got to know them well
.. have recommended them to several friends of mine (BB riders)
already and all have been delighted.... amazed at the improved cumfort level.

...if you do get in touch... let them know that andy from worcester
recommended you and i'm sure you will be looked after exceedingly well.


... no... i'm not on commission.. or their payrole... simply a case of recommending
to you and anyone else a good quolity product at a good price

Bono...:dunno: .. they already do them... i've got onew;;v ... its back with them at the mo though having an
experimental thin gel insert placed under the memory foam
...and having CBRXX graphics applied:bow:

cost is about ?280 i think now but when i got mine it was a bit cheeper
also did a swap.. which again reduces this priceR#?

can help but notice that hardly any southerns go on about changing the seat, must be something to do with us boys being hard and the rest of being soft arsed poofs i reckon.
