BLOODY FOC mine cost me ?5 to get a temp repair then ?10 er to get it plugged and only 1mm less tread than u Stan. Just my bloody luck :fstan the man said::dunno: mac,blu asked me to put this thread up 'cos our tyre fitter/supplier is recommending them...but maybe he's had them at a special deal and is trying to "pass them on"to us.
while on the avons subject, had a screw through the centre of my rear yesterday, and i'd only done a thousand miles on it...and got it changed FOC....duly scrubbed it in,and had no problems et al..so a big :yo: to avon
Jaws said:The 220 is a real hard wearing tyre.. Like the D205 it is believed they MAY be made from wood shaving and marbles with the occasional bogey thrown in for that top quality Dunplop grip....
if you really fancy trying a Dunlop get hold of a pair of 208's.. but even Pirelli's offerings are better than most road going stuff Dunplop offer
Jaws said:Sorry Aidey, have to disagree mate.. I currently have Avon SP on mine and so far have more than 8000 miles done.. including 2 track days
Not all sports rubber wears at a quick rate
