I had to smash me bird and myself to get mine to sign a sick note he then said I should get off my lazy arse and get back to work after a week

it's easy getting time off if yer ACTUALLY ill,!! something Bert doesn't seem to appreciate!!

you have to admit though six months off for ingrown toenails is a little severe, did you tell bertie about the insurance money too ian?? thought not! did you mention the added disability payments you received?? thought not! what about the month and a halfs worth of carers allowance?? thought not! bet you didn't mention the grant to have your shopping delivered or the possibility of monetery compensation for having been wrongly advised by the surgeon (thats going to be worth a good few thousand for sure), i just think its the pits:f

im not normally a blabber mouth ian? but i did feel it necesary to post the truth.
when i read this thread it seemed as though you were just skiving on minimal sick pay, when the truth is you've obviously performed some serious research into wage subsidies and i dare say stand to make a truly handsome profit from what really should have been a minor op
