Long story short, have a Citroen Piccasso on elect 3 scheme, basically lease scheme over 3 years. At start of lease was given guaranteed future value for end of lease. Lease now ended no citroen dealer will honour the GFV for trade in, prices have fallen etc,etc. vehicle now nearly up to max agreed mileage,(you get charged if you go over), decided to hand back, they refused to take it before agreement ended and so it has stood on my drive for a few weeks. Agreement officially ended on 19th December, it was supposed to have been collected prior or on that date. Vehicle still on my drive taking up space. SOooooo, should I take it to nearest Citroen dealer and dump it with them, or, should I / can I start to charge Citroen U.K. / Citroen Finance storage fees? Citroen U.K. and Citroen finance are two divisions and don't appear to speak to each other. I have people arriving for Xmas and need the space. :dunno:

I'd phone the local dealers explaining the situation and tell them you've cancelled the insurance as the vehicle is no longer yours and that its parked on the road outside with the keys on the sun visor,, if it goes its not your responsibility.

So, the only real question is, why the hell did I buy another one?, well, I actually like them, there are few other cars in the price range that can carry 5 adults as comfortably, yet also carry a fridge, freezer and washing machine in a single trip and after trying the new 1.6HDi110 version I stuck with it

Went for a peugeot 406 2.0L HDI estate, GTX model, X-Reg and no ferkin' schemes!!!! Would'nt have another Citroen if they offered me one for free, nothing wrong with the car, just on principle! Why the F*** have a GFV if its not Guaranteed!!! :bang: Sorry......Merry Chrimbo to all. :bow: :bow:

I've also got a Picasso, a brand new 2.0 Desire, and have to say I find it great. Loads of room, lots of cubby holes to store things, and the ride height is way above all other MPV's, the view is brill.

Takes a little while to get used to the two side windows - but so far so good.

The only crap thing about it is the sound system - shite, speakers must be real cheap.

Oh yea, its a nice RED colour, same as me Bird.
