Just after I got my first Bird I was at a radio rally in Lincoln.
I saw one of the pink/burgundy ones parked up... Along side it was a blue one.
Now back then those colours were still quite rare and I really thought it was some kinda publicity stunt ( the first blue was, in my humble opinion, as bad as the first red )..
I stuck my black one at the end and wandered off.. On my return the red one had gone but the owner of the blue bike was standing beside his PJ.
All innocent like, I asked him what he was advertising !! :blush:

He was NOT amused ! LOL
