I frequent both forums although I don't often post on IXXRA. I am sorry that Rolfy Dave has gone on his holidays without seeing this post I for one know that he will be pleased. I know that he has offered an olive branch on more than one occasion. I also speak to Bezzer on another forum to which we both belong and now for a blatant plug (if you will pardon the pun) Bezzers frame plugs are first class polished alum or Brass and they don't fall out!! lol.

It's good to see so much positive response on both sites to my thread posted on IXXRA :bow: Simon was a bit aprehensive about posting the link to my thread, but I'm grateful to him for doing so, although I feel that FB would have done it anyway sooner or later.

The BIRD forum has changed a bit since I was last on it (September 2002), but there are still lots of familiar names. As I have said on the IXXRA forum, the differences between FB and I have been settled, and that will hopefully pave the way for a future where both BIRD and IXXRA can co-exist without any of the previous bad feeling. However, please bear in mind that I am only speaking for myself, and I do not represent anyone else on IXXRA or BIRD as the original split was nothing to do with the disagreement between FB and myself. I can only hope that by burying the hatchet publicly, the example shown by FB and I can help to bring others who have an axe to grind to do the same. If you are one of those people, then for the sake of all other members please try to resolve any differences you have so we can go forward in the biking community with our heads held high.

Keep the banter going folks, as there's nothing wrong with a bit of inter-site rivalvy, but whatever you do, please don't get serious, and if things get out of hand, take the time to get it sorted out in a mature manner :beer:

I too am one of BIRD's post-split members, and have no idea about the past...

... but it's heart warming to read that it's quite possibly on the road to being buried in this very public way. It takes balls to come forward like this, - a slap on the back to you guy's... :bow:
