I'll give 'em a try then mate. BTW, did Bill get sorted? Perhaps what he needs is an uprated version or even an Ohlins with remote pre-loader so he can adjust for solo/two-up riding? :dunno: :-:

not sorted mate, spring has gone and he doesn't really want standard shock either, ohlins is too dear. might end up having the shock rebuild with stiffer spring.

That's probably the best alternative. Try Maxton or K-Tech; both do good work, K-Tech has a better reputation currently and has done a few Sofa's from the Sofa Owners site. They also offer a ride in / ride out service. Best get the front done too while he's at it. I found that when I uprated the rear to Ohlins the front felt worse, so had to get the front done too (Unfortunately :} ) that transformed the handling totally :blush:
