How easy/difficult are they to fit onto the bike, especially the indicator exchange, i.e. taking off the bikes indicators and connecting the rack ones.

Cool as a Cucumber
Just give your self plenty of time m8 and get the wires to the indicators nice and tidy and make sure you do good connections when you join the wires i put some of the heat shrink tube over mine just to keep the water out..

Took me a couple of hours with loads of coffee breaks and winging from lindz so I would say around an hour, also make sure you have all the nuts and bolts before you begin I assembled the frame on the floor first finger tight and then pop it on to the bike and the tighten every thing up, once i had all the nuts to finish the job:rolleyes:

Cheers

Thanks, I've got the one thats fitted with indicators, just wondering how you get the originals off and do they stay off or can you refit them reasonably easily, say when you get to your destination and want to take all the metalwork off?:dunno:

you can get a system to fit hard panniers to the bird which only consists of 3 small fixing points and none of the framework..quiet pricey and i dont know how strong they are..but they sell em so i guess there ok

have a look on the m&p website..or wait for supa to reply..he will prob tell you the page number and precise location of them in the warehouse..down to the picking bin:} and even the route the postal service will take to deliver them too you:p

Bikes are for riding not carrying luggage.
:neenaw:

What about when you get to your destination [not Andover!] and you nee more than a toothbrush and credit card?

I use Kappa [OK I didn't know better- off e-bay ?250 full rack and 3 boxes]:f :f

Not particularly smart, but effective, convenient and used daily to take me barms [sarff translation = sarnies:neenaw: ] to work. Usually known as a scabby horse between 2 bread vans!!

Ugly etc.. but NOTHING upsets a BB in full flight?:dunno:
