I've been wanting to book my bike in for major 16,000 service for weeks and no time, can't commit to a specific date weeks in advance due to the nature of my job, bugger, bugger, need a service done, grrr...
Then the day before yesterday I put together for next day (so yesterday) a meeting up north, so get equipped with my waterproof, my extreme cold weather gear, buttplug in place just in case I bump into fatbert...
I thought, on the offchance since I'm going to be virtually next door to our very own Jaws for a 1hr breakfast meeting and gonna be free for the rest of the day, let's see if he can fit me in his busy schedule of having tea and smoking roll-ups... So I call Jaws, and straight on he tells me he can't but he's gonna give a bell to see if he can move his day's booking to another day, calls me back and tells me "so'te' ma' no swea'" so I poped in and the service was promptly done, and she is running ever so smoothly!
