Alas... 'twas not me Mr H, but on a sidenote I was out on a ride with a couple of mates today (Sun) and we stopped at the biker's cafe in Llandovery, on the A40, at around 3 pm. Saw about six other Birds there, three of which parked next to my red one...

...did I have a close encounter with fellow Bird or Ixxra members...?? w;;v

you sure did rob p xx,if you were parked on t'other side of the road opposite
the caf at said time,although there were also a couple of birds outside the caf
while i was there........mine was the blue one.
[although i was minus the upturned yacht hull as i had SWMBO with me]

did see you looking....if i knew it was you,i'd have stayed for a g0551p with you as i was in no real rush,just had to cooool down as it was unbearable just sitting there in that heat :h ,not complaining though as we haven't had
much $%3un this year.
blumeeni was working 'till 2 then had to go down parents under orders from his
luverly wife sue :xm ....his loss not ours :}

Next time mate!

I was with a couple of lads from St Clears who came down for the start of the Monmouth festival on Friday night( 10 consecutive nights of live bands in the square, all free!). I rode part the way back with them, hence the cafe stop.

Mine was the red one next to yours!!

and very nice she is too.the acrapovic[spelling?]cans look the dogs :bow: and i like the wheels/polished rims...gonna do mine later on this year/next year but don't know what colour etc etc,any suggestions rob?

I just automatically went for the same colour as the bike. Frenchie had his done red and his bike is a black one and it looks dandy - but black does go with red. Would have to be blue for yours I think.... that would look soooooo nice.

Was any of the other Birds next to my bike anybody you knew Stan...?

nah rob,didn't know any other bird owners mate.
two of the "other" bird owners were with their other 'alfs...two strapping lads they were too,but i was talking to a lad as they went into the cafe and didn't see them again...perhaps they were ignoring me :dunno: :} .

think your right about the colour thing though,i was thinking either blue or silver...ah well choices fookin choices
