My mate's just ordered his new 'bird (no problem yet), but when he said to the dealer he wanted another blue one (obviously the best colour to have) he was told that the blue is no longer available, only silver or black.

What on earth is Honda doing ? Blue blackbirds are well known to be the best looking (and quicker) to those with inferior colours.

Word is that sometime towards the end of this year the Bird is likely to have afairly major face lift.. So they are just using up what is in the parts bin ,, And as silver and black are common they had more of those panel sets left .. The blue and red panels are going to end up as spares to keep things available fo rthe next ten years or so.


Of course all this is speculation based on Honda's previous method of doing things....

But..... For those with long memorys.. I did say there would be no big changes until at least November 2005, but more realisically 2006 or 7.. Looks like I just might be proved right !

Nah, Honda should have called it the "Bluebird" in the first place, instead of naming it after some (admittedly very fast, but also very leaky) aeroplane

when at speed it gets bigger, and all the leaks seal up
