Clueless in most things
The thing that has always bugged me, probably just me, is that if you use the ball for the sat nav through the headstock then you often have to look down or it os often blocked if you use a tank bag.
"Put it in the tankbag you arse" I hear you say, "Most of them have a clear window top". When I have tried this but the plastic shine has made it difficult to see. I know some use bluetooth for the jibber jabber part.
So I wondered, would it be possible to buy one of those metal lego strips, the ones with holes in and anchor it to the two top metal screen bolts, then bend it upwards at angle to follow the screen then at the top bend it again so it was flat. A bit like an upside down saucepan but within the screen contour
If the strip was thick enough then you could mount the ball socket for the sat nav at almost a level there would be no need to look down?
Has anyone tried something like this?
