I have a few rider training day spaces left - specifically for multi coloured bikes.

See you soon

Buzz - update

Went over to see him last night

Seems was in surgery for 4 hours and lost a lot of blood during the operation

Morning after - he was a tadge poorly    but by last evening he seemed very well - given the nature of his op

Was in good spirits - even though I was there - and proceeded to tell me all about his blocked bladder!!

Seemed he hadn't had a piss for some time!

So........ cathater [sp?] insertion time - right down the Japs Eye - makes you wince a bit

4 full bags later - he seemed a bit "relieved"

I had the dubious pleasure of watching the nurse empty and measure the contents of said bag - and I thought it was just me that "took the piss" - she was a professional LOL

Hoping to be out of hossy and home [on crutches] over the weekend

He thanked everyone who posted "Best Wishes" on this thread and had a bit of a giggle over it

When you read this Buzz - kiss and tell all about the nice stockings, suspenders and frock that they made you wear??

I'm home !!!!!

Hurray... home at last, well not too bad as I was only kept in for 4 days.

Well what can I say - you lot are just great.

Many many thanks for the multitude of postings and well wishes, it REALLY does go a long way to helping one feel better and lifting your spirits, I'm really moved.

I'll be honest and say I was really down in the dumps when I was told I had to have the entire operation all over again as the first one was a balls up. It was made even worse when they said they had to remove the pin (nail) the way it went in and then insert a new one from my knee, which I knew meant having another injury to overcome. So 5 months wasted and back to square one.

Anyways, its done now, I'm back home, feeling a bit sore and emotional but determined to get back on the road to recovery and getting my life back.

So, as soon as I can I'll be back on my bike (God willing) and be joining you lot on the road again.

If anyone?s passing and feels like dropping for a cuppa, please do - you might even get a biscuit if you?re lucky.sp1ttt3

Oh yea, Berts bit about the stockings.....(and thanks for visiting Bert - honest)

Yep, I'm wearing the very latest in fashion stockings, white elasticated stockings for the next 6 weeks to reduce the threat of DVT, dead sexy but not too fetching with big black hairs poking through them. Its like Jasper Carrot in drag, LOL.

Cheers all,

Buzz.

Glad to see your back home mate Hospitals are horrible places to be stuck in. At least at home you can do things to keep your brain going even if its just polishing a foot peg or something. I know that when you get back on the road I wont be parking my bike next to yours coz that Blade of yours is going to be gleaming with all the polishing it has had. I hope to be out next week end so will try to drop by. Regards to Gill.
