dig that... I have a mate who's a journo, pathological fear of flying, would prevent her to go do assignements overseas... So here she goes to see a fear of flying therapist, she starts to ease of after few sessions, and then the counsellor has a accident and dies. The freak thing is, the accident was a plane crash.

Person I knew had the same problem, went for several hypnosis sessions, felt great, fear of flying went away.
Boarded the jet for the trip, 2 hours later, landed no probs. :neenaw:

Walked out of arrivals and got hit by an airport bus!! :xm

Never had it myself, but a friend at work had to give up smoking before his Triple by pass op, found it very tough trying to give up, so he went to a Hypnotherapist, 2 sessions he had, and not smoked since, so it seemed to work for him. :yo:

Be honest with yourself Rhino.

You're not scared of flying........

You're scared of crashing

I know, cos I am too. I love flying. It's the thought of what MIGHT happen travelling in that tube 6 miles up at 600mph that scares the sh1t out of me.

Go for it Rhino

I was an amateur hypnotherapist for years and helped many people with phobias. Almost always successfully and never with any ill effects. Go and see a professional and enjoy the world. Having said that my wife is terrified of flying and following a few bad flights says she will never fly again. She won't let me hypnotise her though. Can't think why.
