Leeds played poorly against a spirited Hull side who dominated the first half, half time the game was all square at 1-1, second half started much the same as the first half will Hull dominating, Leeds should have had a clear penalty when Gray had his shin caught by the defender’s foot from behind but unfortunately the blind ref let it go.
Leeds did eventually get a deserved penalty & Summerville made no mistake with the spot kick, this was followed by some strong attacking play from Hull, they sent their keeper up for a corner & he decided to stay up, big mistake, the ball broke to Dan James on the right wing, he took the ball just into Hull’s half & shot past the rapidly retreating keeper, brilliant goal, 3-1 to Leeds, back into second spot.
