Another Blackbird in Thetford (sometimes)

Excellent.... Just after the centre was set up, I had to take a very young woodpecker to them.. Gawd knows where it came from ( yer I know, an egg ! ) or how it ended up in my back garden !
Mo is very good with chicks of all sorts and her success rate of feeding and eventually releasing birds of all sorts is quite high, but we felt in this case the experts would be better able to deal ..
I was a little concerned to be honest ( our dealings with the RSPCA have never been good, and we find the officers more than a little callous when it comes to animal life.. ) but the folk of the RSPB were wonderful..
They took the little thing in and I am happy to report it survived and was eventually released.

Don't get me started on RSPCA bunch of :wank: all they care about is profit & publicity, they wouldn't recognise an animal in distress if their own lives depended on it. :rant:
