another year....bird insured,taxed and just got MOT sorted(after he failed it for doggy front tyre,fitted new one and tyre fitter said it was legal :dunno: ,ah well would have needed one in a week or two anyway)so roll on the summer R#?

I have the same things to sort out too. I have had a great riding weekend and am now looking forward to the summer even more than I was.

First up..... a trip down to Biarritz over Easter wiv may mate giving his new R1200GS its maiden voyage.

Had an MOT a few weeks ago..... Mr MOT said I wish all bike were as clean and tidy as that. Did'nt like to tell him I'd just spent 40 hours cleaning it over winter.

Tyre spec is 1mm over 3/4 of tyre (from what I remember), so you can run it bald in the middle. Read that in RIDE mag this week. Mind you I would'nt go below 2mm.

in the opinion of my tyre fitter,it was at least 1mm over the required surface area of said tyre,maybe he(MOT station) was hoping i'd have it replaced with him :dunno: .
