Advice on staining leathers.

Having signed up for the ' Rider safety day ', I am now the proud owner of a set of full leathers. ( and a damn good bargain they were too.. Hein Gericke.. ?60 off te-he bay).

But,. . . They are a bit ' Power rangerish', the main colours are silver grey and red.

Does anyone know of a good leather stain that I can put onto the bright bits to tone down the power ranger bits ?

I would post a piccie, but I know it would injure some peoples eyes, and draw mega pi$$ takes from the rest!
