I have to admit mine never sees a salted road and rarely gets wet and iam always cleaning itThe paint on mine is nearly 21yrs old now and looking a bit tired. May treat it to a refresh if I can find someone to do it.

Yes they were built well back then VFRs and BLACKBIRDS flagship bike'sMine used to go out in all weather and there was one stretch of about 2-3 years where it just wasn't washed at all! Testament to Honda build quality that when I refurbed it last year, not that much needed doing!
That's impressive lot's of the gixxers I have seen suffer with age I have a 750 srad that I've done up over winter I've always liked the Busa never got to ride one yet nice in that colour and yes very tidyNope.
