I'm in Tier 7, Mrs Beaker 8 so some way off. Both are mums (Tier 2) being jabbed in next two days, and almost all those qualifying in the retirement (not 'care') home where my mum lives have been done.
A bit odd here; the town has a population of c27,000 and a significantly higher than average age demographic. We don't have anywhere in the town doing jabs at the moment so everyone is having to travel to Eastbourne (about 8 miles away)and that is causing some genuine issues.
What is interesting is that nobody seems to be providing any updates on how the town is progressing in terms of jabs given - other local towns that have jab centres like Lewes (much smaller) and Eastbourne have easily accessible updates provided by the local authority. Anecdotally it appears to be going well here but the lack of information is morphing rapidly into 'its a shambles' on social media by those that habitually moan about everything while contributing nothing. And as we all know suddenly it suddenly become fact.
Once again proving that lack of information is almost as damaging as bad news.
