You'll find the Bird is a bit like an over weight Thundercat, until you wind her up (fun starts from about 5000).... then it turns into stretched arms and eyeballs time.Hello all, was pointed in this direction by a review article and signed up. I'm hopefully picking up a 2007 Blackbird next week, having to wait because I need a complete day to do it, the train journey is over four hours long to get it. I'm going to give myself a challenge to get back home in less time it takes to get there by train including one or two comfort stops, or maybe no stops at all if the tank lasts (150 miles) and I'm enjoying myself too much. I haven't ridden in seven years, and have only had experience with 600's as "big bikes" (A ZZR 600 and a Thundercat) that I rode without incident for years and years commuting an hour and a half every day and having fun at the weekends so I'm looking forward to swinging a leg over the Blackbird and taking it easy at first. How long that will last though I have no idea, at the moment I have a clean license but from everything I read I will have to make an effort to keep it that way... anyway just wanted to say hello
