Many of us on here are of an age where we can look back with fond memories of the 70's, television programmes such as Tiswas, swap shop, etc Tony Blackburn & DLT on radio one & you knew it was summer when the radio one road show started, people raving over pop groups such as ABBA, Slade, Sweet, Osmonds, but time progresses & people move on, some even grow up & these programmes run their course, dj's get older & no longer trendy so get moved on to other radio stations, the groups fall out & go their seperate ways, then thirty something years later they make unsuccessful attempts at making updated versions of the programmes, the dj's appear on reality tv shows trying to revive their careers, pop groups get back together, but it's never the same & they would have been better remaining as fond memories in peoples minds rather than becoming pathetic middle aged failures,

To point out to one or two people on here..

The old skool is no more, some are still on here but have adapted as Bird has adapted, those of you who haven't & are crying into your beer longing for the old days I suggest, bin your flares & tank tops, throw away your Bay city rollers lp's & move with the times.
